Controller: Hasan Aktaş · Contact: kvkk@sendensonra.com. This policy explains how we process your personal data and your rights under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws where you live.

Data we process — Account and profile: username, initials, date of birth, gender, the city name derived from your last location, bio, interests, profile photos. Verification: verification selfie (deleted after review). Events, communities and messages: events and communities you create and join, request notes, chat and voice messages, friendships, reports and support tickets. Safety: blocks, sanctions and appeals, trusted-contact sharing links. Location: sendensonra shows events and communities near you, so location access is required to use the app (approximate location is enough). While the app is open, your device location is read at launch and at most once an hour or when you move more than 1 km; never in the background. It sets your Discover point, distances to events, the 100 km rule for events you host and the city name on your profile. Your location is never shown to other users. Technical: device and push token, device time zone, app version, error logs, in-app usage statistics (only with your consent). Purchases: subscription and credit history (payment details stay with Apple or Google).

Purposes and legal bases (GDPR art. 6): to provide the service you sign up for — account, location-based discovery, events, communities, chat, notifications, purchases (contract, art. 6(1)(b)); to keep people safe — verification, reports, moderation, preventing fake accounts and abuse (legitimate interests, art. 6(1)(f)); to meet legal obligations such as responding to lawful requests and keeping records (art. 6(1)(c)); photo processing, usage statistics and marketing messages only with your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting earlier processing.

Sharing and international transfers: we use processors for hosting and database, notifications, error tracking and statistics, in-app purchases and automated image checks; they act on our instructions under data processing agreements. Some are outside your country and outside the EU/UK; such transfers rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum). Image checks receive only the image, which is not linked to your identity or used to train models. We disclose data to authorities only when legally required. Other users see only what your profile shows; your real name is never shown.

Retention: kept while your account is open. When you delete your account you can restore it for 30 days; then your data is permanently deleted. Verification selfies are kept while your account is open to prevent fake accounts and abuse (security) and are deleted with your account; read notifications and expired records are purged regularly. Records we must keep by law are kept only for the required period.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection (including to processing based on legitimate interests), and withdrawing consent. Download a copy of your data in Settings > Download my data; delete your account in Profile > Settings > Account or at sendensonra.com/account-deletion. For any other request use in-app support or the contact address above; we reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Age: sendensonra is only for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger and delete such accounts when we learn of them. Automated decisions: we don't make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means; automated image and message checks are always reviewed by a person before any sanction.
